Mulled Cider
- 64 oz Cran Apple Juice
- 64 oz Apple Juice
- 1 package Raven’s Mulling Spices
- Fresh orange slices
- Fresh Cranberries
- Cinnamon sticks
- Star Anise
- Combine juices and mulling spices in a large pot.
- Add in orange slices, cranberries, cinnamon stick and Star Anise.
- Heat to a simmer.
- Can also be served chilled.

Spice Pumpkin Cake
- 1 pkg. moist yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. Raven’s Original Pumpkin Butter
- 1/4 c. Raven’s Original Mulling Spices
Preheat oven to 350. Mix yellow cake mix and butterscotch pudding (mix well).Combine all other ingredients using an electric mixer. Bake in greased Bundt pan for 45-50 minutes at 350 (ovens may vary).
A cream cheese glaze can also be poured over the cake when it is warm if you want to have a prettier, more “dressed up” cake.

Spiced Cider Pecans
- 1 egg white
- 4 cups pecan halves (approx 1 lb)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup Raven’s Nest Mulling Spice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put pecan halves in a large bowl. Beat the egg white with a rotary beater until foamy and pour it over the pecans. Mix gently with a rubber spatula until the pecans are well coated. Combine sugar, Raven’s Nest Mulling Spices, cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle over the pecans and stir gently with spatula until coated. Spread pecans in lightly greased 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool completely and store in airtight container. Yield 4 cups.

Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
- 5 cups cooked sweet potatoes mashed (about 5-6 medium sweet potatoes)
- 3 T Raven’s Nest Mulling Spices (or more to taste)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 T butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
For the Streusel Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 4 T butter, softened
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Clean sweet potatoes and boil or bake in the oven until tender. Cool, peel and mash the sweet potatoes. Stir in granulated sugar, mulling spices, butter, vanilla, milk and eggs. Mix well. Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 casserole dish for serving.
For the topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, nuts and butter together and spread evenly over sweet potato mixture. Cook for 30 minutes until topping has browned. If using mini marshmallows, add them the final 10 minutes of baking. Remove from oven and serve.

Raven’s Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 5 cups sliced Granny Smith Apples
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 cup sugar plus 1 tsp. (reserved)
- 1/4 cup Raven’s Nest Mulling Spice
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 TBLS butter
- 2 Rolled Pie Crusts
- 1 egg
- 2 TBLS water
- Mix apple slices and lemon juice.
- Stir together sugar, flour, mulling spice and add with the apples.
- Pour into pie crust and dot with butter.
- Top with lattice strips.
- Mix egg and water and brush over the top of the pie, spring with a teaspoon of sugar.
- Bake Pie at 425 for 35 minutes, cover half way through with foil to prevent top from over browning.
